Specs: Windows 64
For some reason all my online videos convert to an extreme close when I start to play them. Reducing the zoom only reduces the picture window size doesn't make it normal.

This is very frustrating. Can anyone help?

To speed up Chrome, it uses both your CPU (for calculations) and GPU (for graphic stuff). If your CPU is busy it can send some tasks to the GPU. This is called Hardware Acceleration and is really nice to have, but causes quite some issues. It can be turned off via the settings. That may be a solution to your problem as you disabled the entire GPU for Chrome.
Another reason could be that Chrome has a conflict with your graphics card driver. Chrome seems to use the newest functions of graphics cards, so your current may be too old. You should update it.

Real solution summarized:

Find out what graphics card you've got.
Go to the website of the manufacturer
Download the latest driver
Install it

Remove the " --disable-gpu"
Run Chrome again
If this does not work. Try disabling the hardware acceleration.

I believe this maybe the solution to your problem. hope you find one if so please leave a reply. Happy to help
