I recently found my old camera as above. where can I get the user manual - can't seem to find anything online. Connected it to my PC. It's showing some life, but nothing is showing on PC.
Have a look at this post - useful suggestions from both Derek and Jennifer...: https://www.computing.net/answers/d...
Don't know if this relates to your camera; as it doesn't actually specify "Thane" - but who knows?

I fond both of the above links via this search:
Perhaps duplicate my search and view more of the results it found...?
Thank you Trvir for looking into my request. I have actually looked at the sites/links above but they are either unavailable or the suggested solutions don't work for me. I have found the user manual on line and I now think it's really the software and/or driver I need. It's such a confusing area I think I might have to give up on retrieving photos from this old little camera. Thank you for your time.
Does it not show at all via its usb connection - at least as device in its own right? I dun another google trawl using the string/search term:
thane breeze cam mini digital camera drivers
and got a few hits... Problem is that some of them may be suspect in that they either don't have the driver(s) - or had them - but now are linking to games sites...?
It's possible one t=of then is genuine and yo may find the driver(s) nonetheless?
It maybe worth checking this list out; but be careful with where you go and what you may attempt to download... Ensure you opt only for any actual driver(s) and nothing else.. And also run a full scan on the download before running/installing it; and also your computer immediately afterwards.
No Trvir, it does not show at all via usb connection, not even as a device in its own right. I am starting to think this could be a costly exercise (in more than one sense) and have decided to abort all attempts to retrieve the photos (probably rubbish anyway).
Once again thank you for your time. Best Wishes.
Do you per chance know if there is a memory card inside the device - an SD type? If so then it might be possible to extract it physically and then connect it via an SD USB adapter to a computer? You may run into the issue of win-10 compatible drivers anyway; even if there are earlier driver versions around. Although there may be workarounds even then.. But it's finding them...
Good luck with your hunt if you decide to continue nonetheless...; or try to extract the memory card if it exists...
Again, many thanks for your help.
Re #2
Just to add that I found all the sites linked to available so its odd that you didn't.message edited by Derek
I am clearly hopeless! I'll stick with my proper camera and my phone camera from now on. Many thanks to you.
Sometimes a given site, even several, can seem unavailable, and then later OK. Sometimes it can be a browser issue - it isn't current enough for the site(s); sometimes it can be dns issues "out there" - typically at isp levels...
Thanks guys, I am finishing this discussion now!
"it does not show at all via usb connection, not even as a device in its own right" Cameras generally don't need drivers or special software. If it isn't detected when connected via USB, it's probably defective. Did you check the batteries?
