Well, I did a stupid thing. I was deleting some pics from my Sony Handycam HDR-XR500V and I accidently deleted my most recent pictures. Does anybody know how I can recover these pics?

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Not only recovered, but easy as pie. Now that I know about it, I'm going to try to recover some videos. I have an issue with my Seagate 2T Expansion quitting right in the middle of backing it up to my Seagate Freeagent (also quit a while back and had to be replaced), and the last thing that was being backed up was videos. The Expansion unit is unreadable and freezes everything up as soon as it's plugged in. I'm hopeful that some of those original videos haven't been written over. If anybody has any experiece with Seagate freezing up, I'd love to hear about it. The guys at Staples are mystified.

Issues with loss of image, audio and video files can be solved by using a good Windows or ">Mac digital photo recovery utility. The key however is to get hold of the right software so that you can avoid permanent file deletion.
