Picture It 2000

Specs: Windows 7, 2.992 GHz / 1022 MB
Years back, I used MS Picture It 2000 to so some graphic work. It was still compatible with my next computer (XP) so I continued to use it given that my needs were simple and I was familiar with it.

Well, my newest computer (Windows 7) of course does not support Picture It. I know there are many nice options available to use instead, but my issue is that I would like to open or even use much of my work done previously. In particular, I have many images that are composed of different "layers"/templates that I can manipulate as needed, saving me a ton of time.

I think I know what my answer is going to be, but just thought I would ask. I would hate to start from scratch.
