Photos in SDHC card can not be shown on PC

Specs: Windows XP
I have a 8GB SDHC card in my JVC camcorder. I used it to take pictures and videos, and then uploaded them to my PC. It worked very well. But last week, after I took some pictures and videos, I tried to upload them to my freind's PC. When I connected camcorder to his PC with a USB cable and power on the camcorder, there was a virus warning window jumped out on the PC and said some files were infected by virus and had been deleted. After that, when I opened the folder, no any file can be shown. I tried with other PCs, the folder still show nothing. But all the photos and videos still can be shown and played back on the camcorder. Appreciate your help!

It seems "something" has blocked your files, although I've no idea what or how.

If the files are not too important I would reformat the SDHC card then try it out again.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Hi Derek,
Thanks for your answer! But that photos are really important for me. They were taken during my summer vacation in Euro. I want to try and see if I can have it solved.
