Specs: Windows XP
i want to use coax cable with bnc twist connectors to send cctv pictures from my dvr to monitor. i am getting no signal message. the coax is about 15m long & cannot be shortened. is the cable length the problem? if so can it be "boosted"? i get pictures fine if i use my vga cable so dvr/monitor ok.

The length of the cable should not be a problem. Has the cable been checked for continuity? Is there a substitute signal you can try to check the input? Maybe a direct connection from the camera? Or maybe the dvr output is bad.
