Mkv + Srt Batch script - MKVmerge

March 12, 2011 at 18:47:49
Specs: Windows 7
Hi,
I got many .mkv-files with appendent srt.-files:
01.mkv
01.srt
02.mkv
02.srt

No I wannt to Mux any mkv.-file with the appendent srt.-file into a new mkv.-file using a batch script.

I found this command in the internet:

FOR %%A IN (*.mkv) DO mkvmerge -o "remux-%~nA.mkv" "%~A" "%~dpnA.srt"

I created a new file with the Editor and pasted the command into it. Then I saved the file as "Mux.bat" in my mkv-file-directory.
I thought double-click on it should work but it doesn't.
What was wrong?

Thx but i found out with testing =)

Incorrect:
FOR %%A IN (*.mkv) DO mkvmerge -o "remux-%~nA.mkv" "%~A" "%~dpnA.srt"

Correct:
FOR %%A IN (*.mkv) DO mkvmerge -o "remux-%%~nA.mkv" "%%~A" "%%~dpnA.srt"

(% twice)
