Specs: Windows 7
I copied the images I had taken, ftom my camera to my pc (on the desktop)
After I had put them in specific folders, the images (in .jpg format) started to "shrink".
Originaly they had a size of 1,5 to 1,8 MB each.
they started shrinking to 0.0 Kb size and they cannot be displayed.
In total I had more than 4.500 images with a total size of 5,5 GB
Now, after 2 days- many pc working hours - I have the same number of images in the same folders but with a total size of 2,55 GB because more than half of them have been changed to 0.0 KB size jpg's.
any help please ?
is there any way to stop it ?
any way to repair the affected images ?

First you are making the the major error of not backing up your originals and working from copies. Just stop it or all will be gone. Can't repair a 0 size image without some sort of backup. Apparently you started the batch conversion with the wrong parameters. Just shut it off.
