Specs: Windows 7
I have several DVDs from earlier op systems of windows. I want to access files from them (pix, and some movies) ALSO I would like to run small programs written for Win 2000 and Win XP.

They are also on DVDs.

Normally there shouldn't be a problem. If they're regular DVD movies they should autoplay. If they're data DVDs their contents should show when you click on the drive in 'mycomputer'.

However, it appears sometimes cdfs.sys is disabled and causes the disk to appear as blank. If that's your problem this fix from a previous thread should work for both XP and 7:
