I can't hear sound on videos burned on cd

Specs: Windows 7
Hi, I went in to an internet cafe & had them burn a few short home videos on to some cds.

When I try to see them on my new laptop (Presario CQ62) (windows 7) they either play really fast with no sound or play normally with no sound.

Please can you tell me how to fix this problem? I urgently need to retrieve sound on them.

Any advice would be so very much appreciated... :0)

Thanks, Davina... :0)

what format are they in? Does your laptop play other movies with sound?

Sorry, I can only suggest that you try the CD in another PC and see if they play. It might be a windows 7 problem with media player

You have to find a free Avi converter, looks like you downloaded the movie from a torrent.
