How to unlock folders and files in Windows 7

Specs: Android
I have a computer it's older and I can't open or retrieve any of my pictures because there is a lock on all of them . I just want to open and transfer them t to a CD how can I do this with a lock on each file? I can't even view them

They locked by its self. I am extremely computer stupid. I hadn't used my gateway in awhile I decided to open it to get my pictures off it an they all h Ave locks I can't even view them.

And when trvlr typed "lnks", he meant "links".

It doesn't help that a lower-case ell looks just like a capital eye.

and when typing on an iPhone, and even an iPad, it's easy to miss out a character/letter and not realise it. Especially if one's short distance visual acquity isn't all it once was...

Not nfrequently I end up editing some of my submissions later in order to corrct typing errors I have noted.
