Hi, can you open up windows explorer and go to "computer" to see if your drive is there?

Try connecting something else to the USB port (such as a flash-drive). Does Windows recognize it? If not, something could be wrong with the port or its' drivers. If Windows does see it, try plugging in the devices (camera/iPhone) to another computer with USB. If the other machine does see it, then it's almost gotta be something with the port/drivers on your machine. If it doesn't see it, then there may be something wrong with the camera/iPhone...

You don't say what operating system you are running but there are settings in the Control Panel > AutoPlay if its Windows 7.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

I don't know why you are not getting the prompts but if you go to the drive you should be able to work through the folders and find your photos. If so they can be copy/pasted onto the hard drive.

EDIT:
We would be interesting to know what the shop found if they fixed it.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
