how to tell if my video card is working properly

Specs: Windows 7 Ultimate [64bit], AMD 955x4/3.2gb. & 8gb. Ram 1600mhz.
Hi there, When i view a photo from whatever source the photo has large pixels on zooming in just a little, my other computer does not have this problem. Friends have told me it must be my video card that's causing the problems, Can anyone help explain why or what might be the cause of this?.

First, what is the card (or chipset) and do you have the latest drivers for it?

Hi T-R-A Thanks for your response, The video card is the EVGA GT 430 [Nvidia Gforce] and the drivers are up to date. Any help would be appreciated, Thank You.

Just curious, but have you tried a different screen resolution in your display settings? Had a similar problem many years ago and seem to recall doing so seemingly worked-around the problem...

Hi T-R-A, Once again Thanks for your interest and help. Yes i have tried other resolution settings with no luck, still not sure if it might be the graphic card or something else.
