How to scan from a Canon Pixma Printer to an

Laptop Aspire E1-510

Windows 10

I have downloaded Driver Whiz. Printer has no Scan Button so am at a loss of steps to take to scan a photo or document.

Read the instructions supplied with the printer or download manual from Canon website.

Do not use "Driver Whiz", that's so wrong. Get your printer/scanner drivers from the Canon website.

The scanning function is controlled from your computer via the Canon software, or through "Import from Scanner" in the menu of Microsoft Word or Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Paint etc.

Actual model of your Pixma would be useful here, if you need more detailed help. There are "many" Pixma models...

Avoid magic driver websites, they are snake oil. Always go to the manufacturer.
