Graphics card memory is not a Windows feature, it is down to your hardware. Let us know your computer make and model number. EDIT:

It wouldn't hurt to add more system memory but I suggest to try with 8GB for now & see how it goes. You can always add more later. The graphics card should have at least 1GB GDDR5 memory but there are other specs to look for as well. Check the following link. Further to my #1. Better add that I have minimised my background tasks and at idle only see about 1G of RAM in use. I wouldn't argue with the suggestions given in riider's link despite getting away with less RAM. Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
