How do I retrieve an old screensaver?

Specs: Windows 7
I had used a photograph from the web as a screensaver previously and it's gone...how do I retrieve it?

Depends on how you lost?

Have you looked in the recycle bin (deleted files)?

Did you actually lose it deliberately, as in change the screensaver?

Screensaver & wallpaper are two different things. A screensaver only kicks in after a certain period of inactivity. Wallpaper is the desktop background & is always there. It seems like you're asking about wallpaper. Have a look in C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Themes

If the photo is from an screensaver, it is hard to say you can find it back or not.
Check if it is removed in recycle bin.
Or locate to the place where the screensaver lies.
Alternatively, you can use a data recovery program to scan you drive to find it. MiniTool is a nice choice.
