|If your laptop has a memory card slot which can take memory sticks then that is the easiest way - just put it in and the computer will ask what you want to do with the images. However, I'd be surprised if your laptop has a memory stick slot, unless it's a Sony, most have slots for SD cards. In which case the next option is to buy a cheap card reader - usually less than £10 - and use that instead. |
You can also probably use the USB cable, but you need to check on the Sony website to see if there's a Windows 7 driver available for your Handycam or whether it should be recognised automatically. Disadvantage with this is that you will probably end up with extra Sony software that you don't want.
