Solved How can I avoid cropping when photos are printed?

Specs: Windows XP Pro (SP3), Intel Celeron 1.30GHz
I went onto the Wal-Mart site and sent in some digital photos to be printed and they all were cropped about 1/4" on the edges. This partially cut out dates on the photos, tops of some folks heads, etc. Is there a way to avoid cropping?

Different picture sizes use different aspect ratios. 8X10 has an aspect ratio of 1.25:1, 5X7 is 1.4:1, 4X6 is 1.5:1, etc. Digital cameras usually have different ratios you can save in so you will most likely have to do some cropping when printing your pictures. You should pre crop your photos using photo editing software to the size you are going to print before you take them in to get printed.
