Specs: Windows 7, Pentium 4 2GHz / 4 gigs.
Hello! Please help!
yesterday I worked with file in AutoCAD 2000. I finished work normally. I closed the file correctly. Everything was OK. Today open, and I get a window with the message: "failed to open the drawing. It contains incorrect or corrupted data." Tried to restore the file through the recovery wizard AutoCAD, but what managed to recover is no good (one frame of formats, the sizes and some circles, main types are lost). .bak file is also corrupted! In the folder with the document there is an acad.err file which says:
:"FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Delayload "acurlutl18.dll" Module Not Found Exception at 7c812aebh
04/11/2013 at 09:53:30.281 drawing: «…» What to do?

Off the top of my head, if just that one file and its backup have corrupted your chances of reading them are limited. If other files you have produced are the same then some sort of reload or repair of AutoCAD 2000 might be possible. Acurlutl18.dll does appear to belong to AutoCAD.

Another possibility is that a general computer problem caused it, although occasionally the odd unexplained glitch can happen.

Let us know whether other files you have created are still readable.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

If you have an opportunity, establish yourself AutoCAD 2012. Or open your .BAK file on any other computer where there is AutoCAD 2012 or other newer AutoCAD version, than yours 2000. If .BAK file is successfully opens, save it in AutoCAD 2000 format. Then you can open the file in your version of AutoCAD 2000.
It is possible to come on a forum and to look that speak there.

I very much advise besides .BAK-files to use files of autosave of .SV$, i.e. this function to keep it turned on. Besides, it is always useful to check that just saved file normally opens. If suddenly it not so, urgently to take measures (to address to .BAK and autosaves of .SV$)
