Combine Movavi Video suite with converter to burn DVDs

January 17, 2016 at 00:49:44
Specs: Windows/HP laptop
Movavai Video suite will not correctly burn dvds. I have gone through 45 DVDs that say successfully burned but they are not. I tried playing them in three different brand DVD players, I've tried the software on two different computers and it still does not work. I have followed their directions for converting MOD (Jvc) videos and nothing works. I have tried almost all of their presets for burning and nothing works. My computer is up to date with all programs including QuickTime, which it said had to be, I have tried everything for 3weeks now, please help!

Have you verified your DVD burner is working OK? Does it successfully record other disks? Have you tried other burner software?

Yes, it is working. I made an audio, data, and short dvd with video clips using Windows DVDs burner on one computer that Movavi is not working on and on the other computer it works, I just don't have ability to add transitions, titles etc... I also tried different brands of DVDs. I have tried again this morning, gone thru three more DVDs with no luck. It says burning successfully but it's not. (I have tried multiple brands DVDs players also)

Have you verified the version of Movavi you have is compatible with the Operating System you are using?

Yes, everything says it works with my operating system on each computer. I'm going to try again to uninstall/reinstall and see if it helps.

The program is still not working and I've emailed Movavi customer service/support twice but no one has responded yet. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I even purchased new DVDs today, some brands + others - but Im still unable to burn DVDs from Movavi. TIA!

Thank you, I will try and see if that works! Movavi sent me a reply with a link to the instructions that is their site, even though I explained that it/along with many other things I had tried just wasn't working. It's so frustrating! I'll let you know how it goes!

I suspect you have just created a mpg or avi video file

Try DVD Flick, this will create a disk with the VOB files

A thank you would be nice, if I have helped.
