I'm looking for a good free, simple program to convert videos that have been downloaded from youtube, etc., to a dvd that can be played in a dvd player. I tried convertXtoDVD and it works great except that in the free version there's an annoying text message over the video when you play it.

I tried to install the free version of DVD Author Plus and get an error - it's saying that System Debugger is running and has to be disabled. I searched online for this and found an answer saying to go into Internet Explorer - Tools - internet options - Advanced options and remove check marks from "Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer)" and "Disable script debugging (Other)". I did this and rebooted but still get the same error. I sent an email to DVD Author Plus's customer support but they haven't responded.

Another suggestion was to use regedit to delete a key. But I really don't want to make changes to this.

I've tried several different DVD burniong software packages but they all seem to have a problem - HandBrake, Free Easy CD/DVD Burner, ImgBurn, Roxio DVD Converter, BurnAwayFree, iSee DVD Creator, ... The only one that works is convertXtoDVD but it puts an annoying text over the video and the only way to get rid of it is to pay extra.

Any ideas?
