Many streaming flash videos, these days, don't actually download to your computer. You used to be able to retrieve flash files from your temporary internet files, but many sites no longer do it this way. As a result, people on dial-up just don't get the video stream through quick enough to see the video. One thing you can try, is to pause the flash player as soon as the video starts. Wait until the gray progress bar has gone almost right across, before pressing play. This could take some time on dial-up, if it works at all.
