Hi, i was going through you tube and saw a lot of videos on one song. i wanted to know are their getting copyrights? does copyrights affect earning money?

BTW some songs were not the same sound

Yes, Youtube vidoes are protected by copyright.

You can watch them on Youtube but it's illegal to download them or use them for your own purposes, whether you want to make money from them or not.

The only videos you can distribute or make money from are those which you have made yourself.

I assume "some songs were not the same sound" means they were different versions (singers. arrangements, bands etc).
