Solved When my GoogleTV devices die, how can I stream my fileserver

Specs: all
Right now, I have a fileserver with all of the movies I own set up on my wireless network. I have two "GoogleTV" devices that can stream my movies to my TVs (a logitech Revue and a Sony GoogleTV blu-ray player). Eventually, those players are going to die. I have a FireTV and a FireTV stick, to better stream Hulu and Prime stuff, but these devices are not capable of connecting to my fileserver, so no access to the movies that I already own! Is there a streaming device on the current market that can connect to a fileserver linked via a wireless network and stream the files on it? I'm open to suggestions since once those devices burn out due to old age, I'm SOL!

This was perfect, and actually, to get my media server to work I only needed to download the ES File Explorer app, I already have it up and running and it works perfectly!

Thank you!

Yes,
Es File Explorer Pro works great, as does Total Commander and many others.

Your Fire TV devices have an Amazon app for connecting to your network as well.

It doesn't take much to connect anything to your network of you understand networking.

I use Many different Media Devices through my network as well as My Pc's and MacBooks

Good Luck
