Specs: Macintosh
I have a four wire cable coming out of a line phone line splitter for my fax. I bought a new HP all in one which require a two wire cable to use the fax. Is there a connector to convert from 4 wire to 2 wire?

If you have a jack just plug it in. The right conductors should be wired.

If you have a 4 wire jack or cable, it's always backwards compatible with anything that requires 2 wires.

Even though the main incoming phone line has four wires, only two of them are used for fax, telephone or ADSL broadband.
