Samsung TV and BR no longer see All directories on NAS's

Specs: Windows 7
So my problem doesn't seem to exsist on any forum, I mean nobody has had this problem.

I have a Samsung TV connected to my network.Out of the box everything was working great saw my network, both my NAS's and my external drive connected to one of my NAS's. The was the same for the Samsung Blue-Ray i got at the same time.

I had to take down my network to move it to another room. Shut down my NAS's, moved them, and turned them back on. PCs see the drive's no problem (mapping had to change, but makes sense)

TV and DVD still see the network, and the two different NAS's, but now only a few of the hundreds of directories on the drives are visible?? I have tried everything I can think of to get them to show up. no luck.(I have completely reset the devices (pulled power cords)).

Here is the really odd part...if I take one of my files and copy it into one of the directories that the TV can see, then it will see it and play it. So it's not a problem with the media, or the drives. It's something about the TV and DVD not rescannin the root level, because instantly when I copy a file to one of the visable directories it sees it.

Thought, theories, suggestions?

You scrambled the directories by not shutting the nas down properly.

that's possible I guess...but all my pc's still see them. is there a way to "un-scramble" them?

Try a disk recovery program such as recuva.
