To immediately free up some room.. start the Disc Cleanup, you can find it in Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disc Cleanup.. from there, start uninstalling programs you don't want/need, you can do that in your Control Panel>Program Management.

After you do all of this, restart, go into your "My Computer" and let us know how much hard drive space you have left.

I did this and it only temorarly freed up some space but about 20 mins later the computer told me memory was very low!
This has been going on for a while now and is only getting worse!

That's why, right there. You need to remove some files and some programs.

You should have at least 20GB free of hard drive space.. start deleting some things and uninstalling some programs and you'll be fine.

Depending on what you want to do, you might be better off getting an additional drive or a larger drive.
