Question is, what type of videos are they?
You may have to convert the videos to another format, to get it to play in your blueray player.

Computers will play nearly anything as they can download the codecs needed for the various formats.. AVI, DIVX, MPEG-2, MP4 etc, but what formats does the dvd play?? That is the question as Paul above stated. I had a lot of DIVX movies and I had to look for awhile to find a dvd player which played that format, not many did at the time. So you need to find out the formats the dvd is capable of playing and possibly convert to one of those formats. Some are proprietary and you will not likely find DIVX on a sony player, so choosing the player is important, based on the formats you use.

The best way to burn the disc would be to use burning software that actually creates a DVD format disc and doesn't just burn your video file to the disc. It will create the proper MPEG 2 video format and the file structure for the DVD format.
