how to connect a dvd recorder with a bluray

Specs: Windows 7
I have a BluRay that is connected to my flat screen TV via HDMI cable. I also have a DVR connected to the TV via HDMI. Now I want to add a DVD recorder into the mix. I would like to be able to record programs from my DVD Recorder onto DVD. I also would like to record onto a DVD what I am watching from Netflix on my BluRay. Is this possible? I have composite connection available both on my TV, DVD Recorder, BluRay and DVR but I don't know which way to connect these different components to make this work. Your advice would be appreciated.

The program source has to have a output and the input of the recorder has to have an input that is compatible. Probably the only inputs on your recorder are composite and RF. The BluRay and DVR have composite outputs. So that is the only connection available.

Thank you Wizard Fred. I understand that my connection will have to be via composite cables. What I don't understand is if :
1) I want to make a copy onto DVD from a movie I am watching on my TV via a Blu Ray player, do I connect the DVD Recorder to the TV or to the BluRay?
2)I want to make a copy onto DVD from a previously recorded show that can be played back from my DVR. Do I connect the DVD Recorder to the TV or to the DVR?

Thanks!

In both cases from source to dvd recorder. If you have to monitor the status of the recorder connect the tv to the recorder. In some cases you may also connect the tv with the hdmi cable and switch inputs to monitor when necessary.
