Solved hitachi tv sub titles for the deaf

Specs: Windows 7
i have continual text the same as the vocals when on free view stations
Not there on sky
how do I switch them off ?

found the answer it is the subtitles button a little screen with writing on it on the TV control

Anything in the manual? Sky might have their own settings for this.

Are you in the UK?

Please let us know the TV model number.

You mean you want to turn on closed caption for sky tv and not turn it off, right?

If it's working for over-the-air tv then either your TV's CC settings vary with the input or it's with your sky tv equipment/settings.

(I'll bet your first attempt at a username was 'Derek' but you found that was already being used.)
