Hitachi plasma tv screen will not turn on

Specs: Huh?
We have a 42 inch hitachi plasma HD tv, it was working fine before we decided to move it upstairs. we get it mounted to wall plug everything in and it won't turn on, no power to the tv screen. No lights on, nothing. The box is on though. Did we miss a connection? Also, we decided to remove the piece at the bottom that used to connect to the stand, we don't use the stand we mount it on the wall.

the fuse in the mains plug may have blown so fit a new one that you know has not blown. Make sure the fuse you fit is the correct amps rating for the TV.

if new plug-fuse makes no difference, a fuse may have blown inside the TV.

As far as I am aware if you are in the USA plugs don't have fuses. As regards fuses generally, be aware that usually fuses blow for a reason.

With your new arrangements follow the power cable from the plug and ensure that it is connected firmly into the TV.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
