I have a broadband connection to one building - a farm, and I would like to get wireless access in a remote building about 300m away. Is there an easy way to do this, please?

If the remote building is currently out of range of your wireless router, you can buy a signal booster/wireless repeater/range extender and place it midway between the router and the remote building.

You may find that powerline networking gives a better result.

If you actually need a wireless connection at the other end you might try:

All this assumes that you have power in the remote building.

Thanks Phil, that is very helpful. It sounds straightforward but are there any problems or technical points a non-expert like me should think about, please? Richard

Thanks. Sadly, the building doesn't share a power line with the main building. I was hoping to do this wirelessly without too much loss of bandwidth. There is a line of sight view but it is at least 300m from one to the other.
