remove Facebook from Sage ACT db

Specs: Windows 8 tablet, P4- 2.8 ghz 22 gb
I am a system administrator and have full access to the back end of the Sage ACT db.

Under contacts, there is a tab that say's social updates and within social updates is Linkedin and Facebook.

Our company wants to keep Linkedin but wants to remove Facebook.

According to the Sage ACT tech people, Facebook by itself cannot be removed. We either have to delete the entire tab, which will remove Linkedin as well, or we have to leave everything alone.

There must be a way to go into the coding?? And remove FB??

Thanks in advance

If this isn't causing any major harm or workflow problems, I wouldn't mess with it. Who knows what other things it will start to affect and then sage with charge you an arm and a leg to fix it (persay if a restore from backup didn't work). It could also affect upgrades to the software later on, and lead to unnecessary downtime.
