hi there, I would like to ask for help or suggestion on the scenario below:
I have 2 pc that connected to one server, the pcs are running the same program to transfer the data to the server, if the connection of one of the pc is down then it'll automatically switch to offline mode so when the connection is up again then the 'lost' data will automatically restore back to the server. suppose the 2 pcs data need to be same in the server but now they are crashed. so i'm thinking about whether a master-slave type is more suitable solution? But what if the master server is down then the both pc also can't work with the database. so is there any other solution? thanks.

Generally, I don’t ‘transfer’ data to a server. I set up a front-end back-end database scenario. The server holds only the database tables. The pcs all contain a copy of the front-end application. The front-end app contains linked tables to the back-end file.
