I have used Db3plus since 1983,t is a fantastic program that is easy to use.
My pc's have been 32 bit.
I now have windows 8 on one of my pc's but is 64 bit. How can I use it on windows 8?
As long as the application does not install any drivers, there's a good chance it might work on Windows 8 64-bit. See this: http://www.dummies.com/how-to/conte... If, however, the applications installs one or more drivers, it probably won't even install, let alone run, on Windows 8 64-bit.
Db3plus is ancient; it will be 16-bit software. 64-bit versions of Windows can't run 16-bit programs. The only solution is to run DOS, or a 32-bit version of Windows, in a Virtual Machine and run the program in that VM.
