I'm assuming your using Excel?Try this:If Cell A1 contains Month08In Cell B1 to get Month enter the formula: =LEFT(A1,5) In Cell C1 to get 08 enter the formula: =RIGHT(A1,2)If Cell A1 contains Month08year09In Cell B1 to get Month enter the formula: =LEFT(A1,5)In Cell C1 to get 08 enter the formula: =MID(A1,6,2)Also you Excel questions will get a better response if you post them in the Office Software forum.MIKEhttp://www.skeptic.com/
