|Hi, I was wondering if some assistance could be given to me. I am trying to develop a database/ program and was wondering if it can be done using access. I will outline some of the things I would like done and any comments on its viability in access would be appreciated.|
1. Record Names, ages, DOB, and other custom information for individuals that can later be retrieved using either name or an assigned number.
2. Recording of Items given to each individual using a form or other similar tool.
3. Recording of correspondence (mail) to and from each person.
4. Creation/ Generation of a report that will give a list of overdue responses to mail.
As I said, any information on the viability of this would be appreciated. I know that it can be done but the procedure is what I am querying, as well as whether it would be better to use Access or develop software capable of doing all of these from scratch.
