wiring in motherboard problem

Specs: Windows 7
hello...

my problem is like this...

my desktop don't show boot screen after i push the power button's at cpU. i also heard beep sound after 3 second too. it's have a long beep n twice beep after that.

i always had this problem before this. but after i switch the cable from hardisk and CD-rom, the system back to normal.

I don't know why people refer to their computer/tower as a CPU. A CPU is a chip, usually made by AMD or Intel, that fits in a socket on the motherboard. It's also know as a Proccessor. THIS is an example of a CPU.

You should be asking your question in the hardware forum as it has nothing to do with your CPU. One long/two short beeps indicates a problem with the video card. Make sure the card is fully seated in it's slot.
