Hello, I travel a lot for work and during downtime I play Quake Live. I tried gaming laptops but long story short I need something that can push 144mhz refresh rate. I already have a nice ASUS gaming monitor, but will this compact desktop push 144mhz through the display port?

I don't play any newer games only Quake Live at low settings. Smoother game play is my goal since 60hz is choppy with the screen tearing

Hertz, not MHz.

It's a new tower with a decent gaming card so I don't know why it wouldn't work. You need to have the hardware, drivers, Windows monitor refresh rate at 144Hz, & also set the in-game refresh rate to 144Hz. It appears they may be some other settings as well:

I wasn't aware of the monitor needing the drivers to produce 144hz. Yes I'm aware of the game settings to push 144hz
