Hello Members,

Can you please tell me which of the processor out of Intel Core i9-9900K and Intel Core i7-9700K is best?

I'm planning to build my own custom PC and little confused about the newly released processor from Intel.

I have gone through the various website which tells about the benchmarks but still, I want the opinion of you guys.

Thanks in Advance

If your program or game benefits from more cores then the difference will be greater. The i9-9900 has 8 physical cores but with hyper threading acts like 16 cores and the i7-9700 has straight 8 cores. Balance the benefits vs costs and see which is best for you. If price is no object then freely spend with the confidence you are getting the best. If it means that you compromise on the level of graphics card for gaming then spend the difference on the best graphics you can afford for a single step back on the processor (assuming you are into serious gaming).

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Well I9-9900K offer a base frequency of 3.6GHz and is an overclockable processor. It an eight-core, sixteen thread processor. Whereas the I7-9700K doesn't support hyper-threading. It has eight cores and eight threads only. The choice really depends on your need and the work you are going to perform on the system. If the work requires more number of cores then I9 is the best.
