You call yourself "Speed" & you don't know what overclocking is?

Other than telling you to google it, I'll give you the short answer: It means to change the CPU clock settings to run it faster than it's marketed speed.

For example: a CPU is marketed as 2.0GHz with default clock settings of 10 x 200MHz, but you change the settings to 10 x 220MHz to make it run at 2.2GHz.

And in case you change your screen name to slug, this'll complete your education.

Q. What is underclocking?
A. Change the CPU clock settings to run it slower than it's marketed speed.

For example: a CPU is marketed as 2.0GHz with default clock settings of 10 x 200MHz, but you change the settings to 10 x 180MHz to make it run at 1.8GHz.

Not many...actually only about one or two; as a troubleshooting tool in case of system instability or overheating or in an effort to run old software.
