i've understand the intel cpu family tree

(core i7>core i5>core
i3>c2e>c2q>c2d>dq>pd>p4>p3....)

but i cannot understand the amd's
i've google for it but no results

Within each "K-series" (architecture), there are a number of different processors (family). And within those processors, there are a number of different core revisions (code name) that were used. Here's the chart from wikipedia:
