Specs: Windows Vista
The clock on my Toshiba laptop will not stay correct when I turn my computer off. It seems as thought the clock stops when I shut down my computer. How I can I get the computer clock to keep the correct time even when it is shut down?

There is a 'coin' or 'button' battery on the motherboard inside your laptop that keeps the settings including the time when the power is off and the battery is removed. Apparently this battery is dead, You need to get it replaced, if it is under one of the removable panels on the back of your laptop, you may be able to do this yourself, otherwise you may need a repair shop do this for you. Your manual may show this (check their website for full manual) procedure and even the model number of the battery.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
