|The CPU going up to 100% may not be the problem if it is only at certain times. Under the same time of increased usage, you may be showing up a flaw in your memory (RAM). If your temperatures are not high (as above) in BIOS or in a program called Speedfan ('normal' being 30c to 40c at idle and 40c to 60c under high usage), then look to problem with RAM. To test your memory, download Memtest ISO image and burn to CDr, then set BIOS to boot to CD drive first, put in disk, and restart. The computer will boot to the memtest screen. Let it run through all tests, if any fail then retest with one stick of RAM at a time to decide which is bad if you have more than one stick.|
