Solved Rx 570 4gb + Ryzen 5 2600 vs 5 1600X

Hi, I'm writing with an important question- the thing is, I have Rx 570 4gb armor OC, and am about to buy Ryzen 5 2600 OR 5 1600X. My question is- is the performance difference that big between them? I mean, I'll have an optional cooler, so the one from 2600 will be useless, and I'm about to be playing in 50-60 fps on high or mid settings. Also, I'm thinking of buying an second-hand one, which 1600x can be really cheaper, and my budget is limited. Thanks.

The 2600 is second generation Ryzen. It performs slightly better than the 1600X even though it runs at a lower clock speed. It's also more energy efficient & is rated at 65W vs 95W for the 1600X, meaning it should run cooler.

the 2600 has better memory compatability and will overclock about 300Mhz higher if you're into that.

but hey if money is key, get the cheaper one.
