Replacing celeron 800 cpu with P4 cpu

Specs: Windows XP
I'm replacing the 1.7 GHz P4 processor in my Dell 8200, and was wondering if I could install it in an older computer equipt with a celeron 800?

Celeron 800 use socket 370 and 1.7ghz p4 use socket 478, the celeron chip is equivalent to pentium III.
Keep in mind the maximum CPU supported by dimension 8200 is 2.8ghz 533 fsb.
