Overclocking Intel Motherboard

June 10, 2010 at 08:10:10
Specs: Windows 7
I am trying to find a custom BIOS for the intel DG101gcc motherboard. I have OC'd a Celeron D 3.2ghz up to 4.7ghz wiht this board and Clockgen. I have currentyly got it OC'd at 4.6ghz stable. This chip is quite amazing for an old celeron. I am pretty new to OCing and wish someone would come up with a way to unlock these MB's as they seem to have some potential. If a custom BIOS is out of the question what would be a good MB to find to replace it that would allow me to OC in the BIOS?

U want new board that can overclock old celeron above 4.6ghz?
Your are wasting cash
better buy socket 775 board(intel chipset p45 etc) with dual core cpu (e2200 etc) and oc cpu. Iam sure the dual core will be faster than cerelon running @ 4.6ghz.

"I am trying to find a custom BIOS for the intel DG101gcc"

There is no DG101gcc. You probably have a DG101GGC which is based on the ATI Xpress 200 chipset.
