Solved my pc doesnt boot up when i add new cpu

Specs: Windows 10
i have a rog strix bh250 gaming motherboard and i bought the i7 9700k to upgrade the cpu, when i install the cpu nothing happens it light up but seems dead, but when i put my old cpu back in everything is fine as if nothing was wrong in the first place, im not sure what can be the issue as everything is seated correctly and working with the old cpu fine

That CPU isn't listed as one supported by your motherboard. You may need a newer m/b.

You need a 300 series motherboard, preferably with a Z390 chipset to take advantage of the K series for now or future overclocking potential.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
