i'm install e6600 3.0ghz but detected as Intel Celeron 331

Intel Processor, pentium dc e6600 3.06gh...

Specs: Windows 7, E6600 3.0Ghz/2Gb
i'm install e6600 3.0ghz but detected as Intel Celeron 331.

i'm using mobo GM41M-Combo (gigabyte) v1.4
Using 2gb Ram ddr3 1333mhz
nvidia gt220

so, actually what is the problem?

Well it is supposed to be supported, maybe reset BIOS to defaults ?

Is your E6600 actually running at 3.06GHz (11.5 x 266MHz) @ 1066MHz FSB? The Celeron D 331 runs at 2.66GHz (20 x 133MHz) @ 533MHz FSB. The settings aren't even close. Either you got ripped off or you need to update the BIOS.

im already update the bios!but still detected my E6600 running at 3.06GHz (11.5 x 266MHz) @ 1066MHz FSB as Celeron D 331 runs at 2.66GHz (20 x 133MHz) @ 533MHz FSB, i dont know what actually problem that occur!!

how much u payed for it ? u probably got ripped off, there is no way an updated bios would read the cpu socket and chip differently
download CPU ID and check if CPU ID detects the "real cpu"
