|I still think it is related to power. Your spec sheet lists expected life of battery at 3 years and it is not uncommon for charger cords to have problems. The only thing else you can check that is probable is Memory and Hard Drive failure. To test memory, use a bootable CD with Memtest burned onto it, to test hard drive see if the manufacturer has a bootable hard drive utility you can download and burn to CD. If it cannot boot to CD, that leaves power and internal components like the motherboard that you will need to have tested by a technician. This is a fairly old laptop, so do not spend to much on fixing it, consider the alternative of removing the hard drive and attempting to save your files or have a technician do it for you (if you do not have a back up) and replace it (they may be able to include this service if purchasing a new one).|
